According to East Asian legend, there exists an invisible red string of fate, which ties together people who are destined to be lovers – a concept that is very similar to the Western one of soulmates. "String Theory" is a coming of age, LGBTQIA+ drama steeped in magical realism that follows Hanna, who can see everyone’s red strings but doesn’t have one herself. As she navigates through this uncertainty in her life, we explore themes of loneliness, friendship, and being open to discovering and accepting ones identity, all centered around aromanticism.
