Two unlikely guests find solace in one another’s company, breaking the boundaries of high-school cliques.
Whilst attempting to sneak a bottle of vodka from a house party, Joe, a halfway popular geek stumbles into a Stoney, a reclusive and outwardly intimidating metalhead freak. As the two begin to talk to one other awkwardly, they soon release they’re not so different and, following Joe’s failed plan, spend the rest of the night together.
