It's 1899. Ormond, a woman masquerading as a male clown meets Madam Verona, a new fortune teller, a part of the circus out of dire necessity. Eventually, the two of them begin to find an ally in one another as they tell their story and soon ponder whether the circus life is all it's cracked up to be.
